1. What languages do you translate?
TraduzioniPro is a translation service agency specialized in English to Italian translations and vice versa. It also translates the following languages and their respective combinations: French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Arab, Japanese, Chinese. Our team of translators is composed of mother-tongue graduates in various fields of expertise. This language and competency specificity allows us to carry out professional high quality translations.
2. What type of documents do you translate?
TraduzioniPro collaborates with translators who have degrees in the fields of science, economics, law and humanity and is therefore able to efficiently translate scientific, technical, economic, legal, medical, editorial, marketing-related and all other generic type documents.
3. Do you also translate personal documents like certificates or diplomas?

4. Do you also do Certified translations?
Yes. TraduzioniPro also translates certified documents, or in technical terms “asseverations”, through the competent institution bodies in order to make the translation official in the country where you need to use it.
5. Besides the service of translation and interpreting, do you also offer transcription services?
Yes we also offer audio transcription services.
6. How can I send in the documents that I want to translate?
Delivering documents to TraduzioniPro is simple and easy. All you need to do is attach them and send them via email to info@traduzionipro.it. We are able to translate the most common file types like Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. If the file dimension is excessively large we can easily activate a specific folder on our site to accommodate an FTP upload.
If the document to be translated is not in a digital format it can be sent through priority postal mail to: TraduzioniPro, Via Roma 46 Scala A, 00046 Grottaferrata (Rome), Italy.
TraduzioniPro can also be reached though fax at: +39.(0)6.99.93.99.01.
For web sites translations, if the web site is already on line, it is sufficient to indicate the web address and the final format file type for the translation and we will take care of the rest.
7. How can I make the payment?
Payments can be made using PayPal, a safe and efficient online payment system which accepts most credit cards. Alternatively, payments can be made through bank transfer.
8. What is PayPal and how does it work?
PayPal is a secure online payment system which accepts most credit cards without actually having to share your credit card numbers with anyone. All you need is an email address. 9. How does the on-line quote work?
The on-line quote is a service free of charge and without any obligation offered by TraduzioniPro to enable you to get a good indication of your translation cost. The output quote is not final and can be modified by an indication from you (e.g. discounts are foreseen for particularly long documents) or by the analysis of the document type conducted by TraduzioniPro. Sending in the online quote is an informative service completely free of charge and from any obligation.
10. How can I apply for the discount shown in the special offer section?
By completing and sending in the on-line quote (not yet inclusive of the discount) together with a copy of the document. TraduzioniPro will verify the document type and length with the offer specifics and if eligible it will apply the discount. The sending in of the on-line quote and/or the document to be translated is completely free of charge and of any commitment.
11. When do I have to pay?
Generally within 5 working days from the day of the invoice emission by TraduzioniPro. For new clients the invoice emission will take place at the start of the translation and will have to be settled before translation delivery.
12. How long will it take to translate my document?
The delivery date will be defined together with you at the start of the translation. TraduzioniPro is normally able to deliver a translated document less than 15 STD pages within 3 working days. Translations longer than 15 STD pages and less than 30 STD pages will normally take approximately 5 working days. Delivery dates for documents longer than 30 STD pages will be agreed on a case to case basis.
13. How do you define a STD page?
A STD page is defined as containing 25 lines; every line is made up of 55-60 characters equal to 10 words on average; every STD page has therefore on average 250 words which corresponds to 1500 characters approximately (spaces included).
It is easy to calculate the number of STD pages of your document. You can open it in MS Word and by selecting the word count option from the tool bar menu you will be able to determine the number of STD pages by dividing the total number of characters by 1500. If your document is not in a digital format you can write to us at preventivo@traduzionipro.it and we will gladly help you determine the number of STD pages.
14. Do you translate urgent documents?
Sure. We are proud to mention that one of TraduzioniPro’s distinctive elements is swift timing which is applied to all translations and inclusive in its price. In case your translation is even more urgent TraduzioniPro is able to satisfy your needs and supply the translation requested within deadline by charging a surcharge of 15% on the translation cost.

16. Are there any guarantees on the quality of the translation?
TraduzioniPro has a quality assurance system integrated in our method of translation entirely free of any extra charge. Your document will be translated by a mother-tongue translator chosen on the basis of his/her specific competency in the translation subject. A full revision will then be carried out by a second translator that will assure its quality. For further details please consult the quality assurance section.
17. How can I ask for a personalized quote?
You can write to preventivo@traduzionipro.it and explain your specific necessities (attach your document if necessary). We will answer you as soon as possible.
18. Do you also translate short translations (as short as a single STD page)?
Yes.
19. Do you translate only for companies and organizations or do you also translate for personal or private use?

20. Are there any discounts available for extremely long or frequent translations?
Yes, discount prices are possible in both cases. Please enquire at preventivo@traduzionipro.it.

22. How will my personal data be used?
TraduzioniPro will use your personal data exclusively for the correct function of our service and will not be divulged to any third party in respect to the Italian law n. 675/96 for the safekeeping of personal data.
